Last night we made sure to give our baby girl Clove a lot of love as she is finally being adopted.
Clove arrived to the centre pregnant and after giving birth to and taking very good care of eight babies, it’s her turn to have a happily ever after.
There were a lot of tears last night but we know she will love having all the attention to herself finally.
You can find more about Clove and her puppies at:

Rowan was rescued as a tiny puppy whilst living alone on the streets of Bosnia.
He only arrived with us recently but his family fell in love with his cutie little face.
We will miss his cheeky personality and wiggly little bum but we are so happy that he has found the home he deserves.
Happy adoption day Rowan!
2024 is proving to be a good year, so far, for adoptions. It makes a huge difference if you share our posts across your social media channels, Fetcher Dog work tirelessly to rescue and rehome street and abandoned dogs both in the UK and Bosnia, so please get involved and follow us on @fetcherdog on Instagram and Facebook and like, comment and share.
Thank You
On an average day, our furry friends bark a total of forty times, and with forty dogs on our premises at any given time, that adds up to a whopping fifty thousand barks! Thankfully, our neighbours remain blissfully unaware of this lively chorus.
With a bustling centre full of 40 adorable dogs, keeping the blankets and sheets clean becomes a delightful challenge. This means we run a staggering 150 washing machine cycles, hang and dry over a thousand items, all done with love and care since we don't have a dryer or even an ironing board in sight.

Bunny was rescued from the streets of Bosnia and has finally arrived with us at the rescue centre in Kent.
She is a sweet and gentle girl who can be a little bit shy with new people but is so loving when she knows you.
She absolutely loves to zoom around our field and play with every toy she can get her paws on.
She loves other dogs!
Bunny is already on our website so please do hit the link below if you are interested in adopting her!

We are only a small team but almost everyone including our rescuers in Bosnia, our team at the centre and our volunteers are female! We are so grateful to all the amazing women who have helped us with our mission.
Your dedication to saving the lives of abandoned dogs is inspiring and we couldn’t do it without every one of you.
Thank you!
Meet Reggie.
This Angel was rescued from a local pound when he was at risk of being put to sleep due to lack of space.
He is a real sweetheart who loves cuddles, bum scratches and toys.
He has been great with the other dogs here and at the pound and has been a delight since he stepped foot through our doors.
Meet Maddie.
Maddie arrived from Bosnia a few days ago and has settled in perfectly. She is the sweetest girl and doesn’t have a bad bone in her body.
Maddie has already enjoyed zoomies in our field, naps in the sunshine and cuddles with everyone at the rescue centre.
Maddie has been added to our website and is now looking for a home of her own!
This sweet boy came to us after his previous family tried to have him pts. It was quite clear when he arrived that he had been hit in his life and he needed a little bit of reassurance and patience to trust us.
He is a wonderful and loving boy and we are so happy that he has been given the chance to have a lovely life.

Lorelai is on week 8 of her chemotherapy treatments with only two more sessions left!
We are so excited for her to finish and then we can finally find her and Rory a forever home.
You can donate to the the cost of her cancer treatment at Fundraiser by Fetcher Dog : Help Lorelai beat cancer! (gofundme.com)
Thank You

Thank You Amber for your ongoing support!

Lilly was rescued from the streets of Bosnia.
She was covered head to toe in mange but was still so loving despite how uncomfortable she must of been.
She is now headed to her forever home in London and I’m sure she will be very spoilt!
Hector was rescued from the streets of Bosnia and we took over his care when his rescuer struggled to find him a forever home.
He’s a shy boy but so so loving with the gentlest nature.
Good luck in your new home Hector.
Happy adoption day, Lilly and Hector!

Fetcher Dog welcomed 11 dogs at the rescue centre in Kent from Bosnia this week and the first of them Fernando was adopted earlier today.
Fernando did not have a good experience on the streets of Bosnia but now is safe and about to start an exciting new life.
Jordan writes:
Thank you to everyone who share these stories as it really helps to raise awareness and find the dogs loving homes.

Before I introduce our very handsome new arrival, I’d like to say we are all so so so grateful for everyone who shares our posts and tells their friends about us. Last weeks adoptions meant we had enough space to save the lives of several dogs who were going to be put to sleep in the pound last week.
This handsome boy (above) would not be here without you guys.
So, meet the first of our newbies!
This boy was rescued from a pound in Merseyside and made his way down to us in Kent this morning. He is the goofiest, loveliest and most handsome boy.
He is around two years old and tested well with other dogs in the pound. He is a joy to have at the centre already and I know the most wonderful family is out there waiting for him.
He isn’t on the website yet but please send in your applications if you are interested in adopting him.
The second of our newbies (above) is this absolute angel.
He is so dopey, soft and kind. He is a big boy and he’s very strong but he hasn’t got a bad bone in his body.
He loves belly rubs, rolling in the grass and playing ball.
We know he may take a little longer to find a home because of his size but we couldn’t leave him in the pound.
So, please share far and wide and help us find him a home.

He was homed by Niall and the team 8 years ago but due to a change in circumstances of his owner, he was in need of a rescue space again and we were more than happy to welcome him to Fetcher Dog.
Teddy can be a little bit reactive on the lead but is otherwise the perfect little boy. He will be on our website soon so please keep an eye out for updates !

Noodle - This cutie came to us from a pound in Merseyside underweight and with a lot of sore skin. He is now off to live with another dachshund and be spoilt rotten by his new family. We are so happy that he finally has the forever family that he deserves.
Happy adoption day, Noodle!
Babs - Is this the happy face of someone who has just been adopted? It sure is!!!
Babs has gone to her forever home this morning. Babs was rescued from a local pound when she was at risk of being put to sleep. This girlie is so loving and I’m so glad she’s finally got a home of her own.
We love you, Babs!!!!
]]>Fetcher Dog would like to say thank you to GM&M Johns Family Butchers for having a collection box in their shop.
They have raised £373.75 over the last few years with collection boxes and raffles, which is much needed and we are very grateful to them for thinking about Fetcher Dog.
You can find them at G.M&M JOHNS FAMILY BUTCHERS
Fetcher Dog relies on individuals and small and large businesses for support, if you would like to have a collection box on your counter or require our help with a fundraiser please contact us.
]]>Bridget is another one of our newbies from the pound who was set to be put to sleep at only six months old.
Snowy has wormed his way so far into the hearts of his foster family that they’ve decided to officially adopt him!
Snowy is 15 years old and came to us when his owner died and he was left in a boarding kennels.
We thought this little boy deserved his home comforts rather than the kennel environment so we decided to find a foster family for him.
Luckily for him, his foster family came forward and welcomed him in their home.
We are so happy that he will live the rest of his days in comfort and with a lot of love.
]]>Six whole years gone by since I first met Jude Foote and Andy and we set off to Sarajevo to see what we needed to do to help the dogs of Bosnia in a bigger and better way.
It’s been hard and heartbreaking and frustrating to not be able to do more, but we have helped as many as we can over the years before the visits and since the visit.
We help both Bosnian and UK dogs and to think that people can be so cruel to dogs and treat them badly and just dump them is still unthinkable .
Thank you to everyone that has and does help us and has supported us over the years.
We are so grateful and look forward to the next six years and beyond.

We only have a set amount of space here at the rescue centre but there are so many dogs that need our help. If we could find some more foster families, we could save more dogs.
This is also a crucial step in finding homes for some of our more scared dogs as well as dogs better suited to a home environment. We would provide everything a foster dog needs for as long as they are in foster.
Once again, the pounds are bursting with dogs and luckily we’ve had quite a few adoptions in the last few weeks so could save a few when they were at risk of being pts.
Meet Ivy and Barney! They were both rescued from a pound in Merseyside and made the journey to us here in Kent this morning.
They are beautiful dogs with lovely natures who have tested well with other dogs in the pound.
They have already been so loving and trusting with us.
Ivy will most likely wait longer for a home than Barney as lurchers usually wait a while but she will be safe with us until a perfect home comes forward for her.
Welcome to Fetcher Dog!
It’s another tough, tearful but happy day at the centre as the first of our beautiful puppies is heading to her forever home today. Gerty has always been Steph’s favourite as the first born but she is heading to a very trusted adopter who already has one of our dogs!
We have never raised puppies from birth before so these puppies are extra special to us and will be so hard to say goodbye to but we know they all have such wonderful lives ahead.
Bye Gerty, we LOVE you

Eddie was a local owner surrender to us at the rescue centre. He came to us through no fault of his own at 12 years old and we hope that someone will open their heart and their home to him despite his age.
Eddie is a sweet and caring boy. He is very friendly and loves affection. He loves his toys. He had a very sheltered life in his home for the last three years, not leaving his crate except for small trips into the garden for the toilet. Before this, he enjoyed his walks.
Despite his age, he is an energetic boy who would enjoy going on walks. He can dislike some dogs and be reactive on the lead as he was previously attacked by a husky but this is not with all dogs.
We do not know much about Eddie's life so please expect to do full training upon adoption.

Thank You
Our puppies are finally ready for adoption and we are now accepting applications for them! We love these babies so much and we will all miss them but it’s time for them to fly the nest.
We are still in need of help around the centre for one-off jobs and longer term roles.

-Maintenance (painting, gardening etc)
-Jet Washing
-Clearance of areas, sorting through donations, organising.

We have agreed to take this cutie through our friends at New Hope Animal Rescue who were contacted after this cutie found himself in need of a rescue space.
His previous owner died and he was taken into the vets to be pts by a family member of the deceased.
We have only heard great things about the doggie and hope to find him a loving family soon!

The staff and volunteers are raising funds for the dogs this February and are undergoing some challenges, first was the old favourite 'Ice Bucket Challenge taken on by Jordan and Stephanie at the rescue centre in Kent.
You can donate at Fundraiser by Fetcher Dog : Koda's Birthday fundraiser for vet bills! (gofundme.com)
This year we are fundraising for vet bills.
General care of the dog we rescue costs us huge amounts each week.
Every spay/neuter costs between £180-£300 and each vaccine course costs us around £90.
We then have many more complex cases coming to us like Badger's mange which has cost us around £300, Lorelai's cancer which currently has a bill of £7000, Timmy's skin which has cost £350 and Jamie's abscess which cost us £400.
We rescue as many dogs as we can but the veterinary bills do sometimes get in the way of being able to take on new dogs.
Please donate what you can to help!
Even £1 from half of our supporters will help us reach out goal in no time.
Thank you
Koda, Jordan, Steph, Jo and Paul

Being able to do regular adoptions helps us to continue rescuing dogs in need.
Nina was rescued from a U.K. pound when she was doing to be put to sleep due to lack of space.
She is truly an Angel and finally has the loving forever home she has always deserved.
Thank you to our lovely adopters for opening your homes to our dogs, we are forever grateful.
Thank You
We took in a welfare case two weeks ago who was in very bad condition. Because he is a welfare dog, we weren’t allowed to post him publicly for two weeks but I am now pleased to introduce Tiny Tim.
Timmy came to us underweight and with very sore skin. He has been to the vets a couple of times, had a few lovely baths in medicated shampoo with Sam from Tail Blazers Mobile Grooming and has put on weight (he loves his food). He is also on daily antibiotics for the infections on his skin.
He is the sweetest little boy. He is so friendly, cuddly and happy despite how uncomfortable his skin must be. Timmy will be available for adoption soon so get those applications in if you are interested in adopting him.
