George

 George came to us when she ran out of time at the pound and was going to be put to sleep. It is always harder to find rescue spaces for malinois's but we thought she deserved a chance. 

When George first arrived she was extremely reactive to the other dogs at the centre but with some time and patience as well as some calming supplements, she has got used to the routine here and has calmed down. She will need more training and socialisation upon adoption but she has already made massive progress. 

George is such an affectionate, goofy and loving girl. She enjoys sitting with us in the field in the sunshine, having belly rubs and laying in our laps. As a Malinois, she will have jigh energy levels and will need an adopter willing to put in lots of time and effort into her training and not give her just daily exercise but mental stimulation too. 

Due to her reactivity we believe George would be better in a home where she is the only dog. We do not know if George has ever had a home before so please expect to do full training.
