Freddie

Freddie came to us as a local owner surrender when his owner could no longer care for his through no fault of his own. He unfortunately came to us with some skin issues that he had been battling for a while but hadn't had any treatment for. His ears, chest and bum were completely covered in scarred skin but now that he is on a nice grain free diet, his skin is improving and he is happier to be touched in those areas. We hope that he will continue to heal whilst we search for a forever home for him. 

Freddie is a sweet boy but is reserved around new people. As his skin was previously painful to the touch, he isn't overly keen on being handled by people he doesn't know but this is improving daily. He is affectionate with the people he knows and trusts and loves to sit with us on the sofa. He really likes toys and even though he isn't great at bringing them back, he loves to chase after them and make us do the 'fetching'. Freddie was in a home since he was a puppy so any new environment will take adjustment but he has done very well in foster with a member of our team and the other dogs she cares for. 

Despite Freddie living in a home before, please expect to do full training upon adoption.
