Merlin

Merlin came to us when someone dropped him at our door, claiming to have found him straying locally. He rushed of before we could find out any additional information but when we called the number on his chip, the person who answered said she had sold the dog on after having him for 12 years to a man that matched the description of the man who dropped him off. Neither came back to collect him and the person on the phone said if we can't keep him, we should just put him to sleep. We were never going to let that happen so, we squeezed him in with us. 

Since that point, Merlin has been a delightful addition to the kennels. Older dogs are often overlooked but he would really make an excellent addition to a very lucky family. Despite his age, he is full of energy and loves to play. He loves all toys but loves balls the MOST and would do anything for a tennis ball. He can be reactive to some dogs but did previously live with another dog and he has been great with every person he's met. 

We do not know much about his life before he was dumped so please expect to do full training upon adoption.
