Newt was rescued from a public shelter in Bosnia where the smallest and youngest dogs are at the greatest risk of injury from the other dogs or disease from the lack of care given in the shelter. Newt is now safe and waiting for a forever home of his own. 

Newt is a little bit shy to start with new people but he is very affectionate and cuddly when he gets to know someone. He is doing well with his lead training in the kennels. 

He has been great with the other dogs in the kennels. We do not know if Newt has ever lived in a home before so he will need full training upon adoption.
