Clear Your Junk for a Good Cause! by Jude Foote

For the last month, I have asked friends and family to have a clear out for a carboot... the donations came in thick and fast. So at 5.30 on the 1st June with both cars packed the night before.. myself, Fred, jack , Lynne and Hannah set off to Studley carboot sale. Armed with banners and t.shirts.. we set up stalls and by lunchtime had raised £290!! We also got to chat to loads of lovely people interested in the charity and they are now following us. This is such an easy way of raising money and doesn’t cost anything apart from your time.. it was a really enjoyable morning.. as they say.. one mans rubbish is another mans treasure (thinks that’s it!)....we will now be on the scrounge for more stuff as we are planning to do another in a couple of weeks! Great result all round!

We will be holding another carboot at Studley carboot in Birmingham in a few weeks time, so stay tuned and come down and support Fetcher Dog!
