Dashing Dogs in Daisies! - Heathcliffe!

Heathcliff came to us through the pound system when he was due to be put to sleep due to lack of space. Older dogs often struggle to find rescue spaces when they are in the pound as they are much harder to home so we were Heathcliff's only hope. Luckily, e were able to make a space for this Angel and he won the hearts of the team immediately. 

Heathcliff was very underweight when he arrived, he was covered in old and new wounds as well as lumps and bumps. We took him to the vets as a matter of urgency to make sure he didn't need immediate treatment for anything serious and all his blood tests came back normal. We then had to focus on getting him on a good food, getting his weight on track and getting his skin and hair in better condition which we have now achieved!

Heathcliff is no ready for a forever home of his own. He is the sweetest boy and he is a really affectionate boy when he gets to know you, nuzzling his head into our laps and giving us kisses. He also loves a football or a tennis ball and loves playing with them in our fields, happy to keep himself entertained or have a football teammate. 

Heathcliff has been a good boy on centre and at the pound with the other dogs. 

We do not know anything about Heathcliff's life before the pound so please expect to do full training upon adoption.
