Fetcher Dog's 'Canine Care and Support Programme' - Sponsoring a UK Dog

I am always being asked by individuals and businesses ‘ How can we help Fetcher Dog?’ and there are many ways to support us by donating your time, donating money, donating resources or donating your expertise.

Sponsoring a dog is a very simple way to directly support the dogs and the rescue centre.

Here at the rescue centre, we have between 30-40 dogs, at any one time. The operational costs of running our rescue centre is £150000 per year. This includes rent, rates, energy, staff costs, dog food, blankets, beds, dog toys, dog treats and medicine for the dogs as and when the dogs get sick.

To offset some of those costs we are looking for companies to sponsor a dog for a minimum of one year.

Breakdown of Costs Per Year

Kennel cleaning - 10 mins a day @ £10.42 per hour = £550

At lease 45 minutes playtime per day with one of our members of staff - Free

Dog Food @ £35 per Month = £400

Replacement Blankets/Beds/Toys and Treats = £150

3 x Pamper Sessions per year with resident groomer Samantha Mills = £100

Totals = £1200 0r £100 per Month

In acknowledgement of this kind and generous offer we will:

Recognise your company on a designated page on the Fetcher dog website
Have a wooden sign made, to be attached to the kennel, recognising your company and your contribution to the operational costs of the rescue centre
Receive a framed certificate, (after 4 months) acknowledging your sponsorship, that you can display at your company
Mention your company on our social media channels
We and the dogs will be very grateful for your support

As part of this programme your sponsored dog receives 3 x pamper sessions per year with our resident groomer
