Fundraiser for Rory's surgery!

We just received some terrible news, Rory’s lump is a mast cell tumour and she needs surgery to remove it as soon as possible.

We took Rory into the vets last week to have a biopsy of a lump on her chest and after a week of waiting and worrying we have found out it’s cancer. As you know, we have been struggling with fundraising and still haven’t covered her biopsies but now need to raise£800 as soon as possible to cover the cost of the lump removal.

During the surgery they remove the lump and take as much area around it as possible to give good margins and then send it off for testing. If the margins are clear, we breathe a sigh of relief that she won’t need additional treatment, but if not, we have to consider options on chemotherapy and further surgeries.

We need to get Rory in for surgery asap! Time is of the essence and this cannot wait.
