Homer becomes an official Fetcher Dog sanctuary dog - Would you like to sponsor him?
Homer was one of the first dogs that Fetcher Dog rescued in 2016 and has been with us ever since. He has had very little adoption interest so we have decided to have him as a sanctuary dog and therefore he is now not available for adoption.
The decision is not taken lightly but we feel that due to his age and the fact he has only known us, it maybe too much for him, now, to be introduced to a new environment.
He is available for sponsorship and I have provided a sponsorship link below, the centre staff will not treat Homer any differently and will remain a loved member of the Fetcher Dog family.
Homer's story:
Homer and his brother Hercules were found living by the railway tracks as small puppies and taken to safety by a rescuer in Bosnia. They were both very skinny but grew to be happy, healthy dogs.
Homer is a sweet and confident boy, who has loved all people he has met so far but needs slow introductions to other dogs as he can be anxious of other dogs. He may be suited to a home where he is the only dog because of this anxiety.
He has a lot of energy and loves to play with the other dogs that he knows in the kennels. Zoomies are a daily occurrence with Homer.
Homer is a big fan of soft toys and loves to roll around in the grass every time he gets a new toy. He is a very affectionate boy that loves to think he's a lapdog and loves belly rubs.
