How companies and individuals can help support the work of Fetcher Dog

Fetcher Dog attended this weeks Networking Event at Hayne House, Saltwood organised by The Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce. The event was an excellent and effective way to meet the staff of the venue and the staff of The Chamber of Commerce whilst sharing ideas with local businesses.
I was approached by many business men and women who asked 'how can companies help a small local charity or get involved on an individual or company level'
I, therefore, list below just some of the ways that individuals and companies can engage:
    • Nominate Fetcher Dog as your charity of the year - By choosing a specific charity, it can unite your company in a common cause which benefits your workforce while making a huge difference to a small charity.
    • Individual fundraisers, examples include 'Walking on glass/fire'. 'Walking/running/cycling/swimming 5K as an individual or as a team', 'Jumping out of a plane', 'Coffee mornings' etc.
    • Donating your time through volunteering at the rescue centre as a kennel assistant or volunteering your time as a fundraiser in your local community, collection boxes, quiz nights, jumble sale and coffee mornings are some good ideas.
    •  Donating your expertise - Fetcher Dog are a registered charity running a busy 40 dog rescue centre which are always looking for tradespersons to donate their time and skills, trades needed include - Plumbers, Accountants, Cleaners, Garden maintenance, Window Cleaners,  Mechanics, IT specialists, Social Media, Sales and Marketing, Dog Behaviourists and Trainers etc
    • Follow us on social media and share our story and progress on your social media channels.
    • Individuals and companies can donate regularly by signing up and setting up a monthly donation through Give as you live -Donate to Fetcher Dog | Give as you Live Donate  
    • Donate items for the dogs through our Amazon wish list - Amazon.co.uk

Charities, rely, one hundred percent on the kindness of people, their supporters and that kindness can be through donating funds, giving time, giving expertise, donating items for jumble sales and on line auctions or sharing the Fetcher Dog story and journey with their friends, family and colleagues.

Fetcher Dog are a small, family run non profit organisation that rely entirely on the kindness of their supporters to help alleviate the suffering of Bosnian street dogs and find those dogs forever homes in the UK.

I would like to thank all the staff at the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce for their time, professionalism and expertise that made the event, for me, a success and an enjoyable experience.
