Banjo visits The Amber Foundation and Wows the residents and staff!!

Today Paul from Fetcher Dog visited Downsview in Ashford, Kent, a property owned and managed by The Amber Foundation, to spend time with the residents and staff, taking along one of our rescue dogs, Banjo.

Banjo came along to spread some puppy joy, he really enjoyed his time, running around the gardens, jumping, bouncing and generally looking handsome. Banjo was found as a stray in the UK, is a small dog with a huge personality and is due to go to his new home in a matter of days.

Fetcher Dog and The Amber Foundation are looking to work together in the future with both charities volunteering for the other. the sharing of best charity practices is ongoing and we are looking at the benefits the dogs have on the residents and the residents have on the dogs, so far the experiences have been positive, rewarding and beneficial.

Paul writes:

'It is an absolute pleasure to spend time with these young adults, who are interesting and interested, engaged and engaging and seem to really enjoy the time they spend with the dogs, the work that Amber is doing is not only vital but transformative.

Fetcher Dog hope to continue and grow this partnership with the charity and I look forward to working with them in the future.'
