Fetcher Dog attend the 'Paws in the Park' event and it proved to be a huge success raising over £350

Fetcher Dog attended the 'Paws in the Park' event over the weekend at the Kent Showground, Detling and would like to thank everyone who came along and said hello. This event is very well run and is a great weekend for dog lovers, our stand was next to the dog shows/classes/competitions run by Gefion Dog Training - Home - Dog kennels and training facilities - Ron Mills Dog Training which were a huge success.

Events like these are very important for Fetcher Dog to raise much needed funds and awareness of the charity, what we do and what we aim to achieve.

Our stand was full of Fetcher Dog charity information, merchandise and information on dogs looking for their forever homes as well as lucky dips, participants dog art and dog prints, all of which seemed to go down very well.

Winter from the rescue centre accompanied us on the Saturday and had a great time although he was very tired at the end.

Fetcher Dog raised just over £350 and had many people interested in adopting our dogs and we also had some of our wonderful adopters pop along to say hello and give us some further support.

Fetcher Dog's Founder Stephanie writes:

'We had a lovely couple of days at 'Paws in the Park', with the Gefion Dog Training Club  at this wonderful fun dog show. Raising awareness for our lovely rescue dogs. Very long days. But what a lovely show. Thank you to Tracy Nicholls and Teresa Mills and also seeing some of our lovely adopters and of course our gorgeous rescues. they were all amazing.'
