Please say hello to Madeline, a new arrival to Fetcher Dog!

This tiny bean came to us through the pound system.

She has already had a tough start to life.

We believe she was born to a backyard breeder who dumped her when she was ‘too old’ to sell.

She arrived to the pound and quickly got parvo which can be fatal in puppies. She was sick for several weeks but made a wonderful recovery.

However during her stay at the vets, they bandaged up her tail as she was pooing on it (diarrhoea is a symptom of parvo) and did it too tight, cut off the circulation accidentally and it had to be removed.

After all of this, she is still the happiest little girl.

Madeline is about five months old.

She is small in size and we believe she won’t grow any bigger than small/medium. Maddie is a typical playful puppy. She loves to zoom around our field and be hyper.

She likes to roll around in the grass, chase toys and jump all over us. She has been submissive with the other dogs she’s met, crawling on her belly to say hello. Maddie sleeps well in a crate overnight.

Maddie has never experienced life in a home so will need lots of training and socialisation upon adoption.
