Please support Louis with his 100 mile cycle ride, now in memory of his father Rick! - Thank You Louis and Rick, your support of our dogs is overwhelming!!

We were lucky enough to meet Rick at a fundraising event recently and he spoke about how much he loved his dogs and how he wanted to help ours in any way he could.

So, he and his son decided to do a sponsored 100 mile cycle of the Kent coast alongside his two little dogs to raise £1000.

But today, we have been told that Rick passed away suddenly on Monday.

His son will still be completing the cycle in his Dad’s memory and hopes to reach his £1000 target.

Louis stated that ‘It is with a heavy heart and great sadness to inform you all that my Dad sadly passed away suddenly on Monday, likely due to an existing medical condition that was due to be operated on later this year.

'As his son, I am of course devastated, but I also know how much this ride meant to him, giving him the chance to "keep on living" whilst raising money for Fetcher Dog and helping the care of dogs - his purest passion.
Because the ride meant so much to him, we (myself riding with support from our 2 closest friends as planned) WILL STILL COMPLETE THIS MISSION!
He really wanted to hit the 1000 pound goal to make a big difference to the work of Fetcher Dog- giving hope to abandoned dogs and so far we have raised nearly 600 of that. All I ask is that you donate if you can - if not just for the dogs, but for my Dad.'

This will mean more to us than messages of sadness!

I will still keep this page updated as we get closer to the big ride!’

Please follow their page for updates and please sponsor if you can!
