Sooty visits the vets to have surgery on her dislocated hip!
As you may remember, Sooty arrived to us from the pound with a badly injured back leg.
She wasn’t putting any weight on it and when we took her to the vets, they confirmed it was able to bend completely the wrong way and that she would definitely need surgery to fix it.
It was confirmed that her hip was dislocated and she would have been in a horrible amount of pain.
Sooty finally went for her operation on Wednesday to fix this and did wonderfully.
She now has to have crate rest for four weeks, only being allowed out for a wee.
We decided to put a crate in her existing kennel with her Mother, so they didn’t have to be properly separated during this time.
Sooty and Sweep are doing very well and we hope Sooty continues to heal.
She will have a few vets checks over the next few weeks so we will keep you updated!
