The Fetcher Dog Xmas Challenge
It’s giving Tuesday which marks the start of our @thebiggiveorg Christmas Challenge. We are taking part in a match funding campaign to raise funds for our dogs between now and midday on the 6th of December.
Five of us are cycling and walking the distance between the rescue centre in Kent and Sarajevo in Bosnia over this week! That’s 250 miles each. It’s going to be a huge challenge, but we are doing it for the dogs!
So, let me introduce the dream team!
We have our lovely volunteer and adopter, Michelle Davey our friend and adopter Ryan, long-term friend and volunteer Charlotte Jones and my dad and Fetcher Dog centre manager Paul and me Jordan .
We are aiming to raise a whopping £5650 which will be matched by the lovely pledgers who we organised earlier in the year. This means we have the opportunity to raise £11,250! This will go towards rescuing 15 new dogs and giving them everything they need from rescue to rehome, including spay/neuter, vaccines, kennels, travel to the U.K., passport, microchip etc.
I will be keeping everyone updated over the week on our stories so stay tuned to see us struggle.
