Would you support Fetcher Dog for just £5 per month?
We currently have our end of month Friday Fiver Fundraiser, we really appreciate those that donate to this, however its a very small percentage of the people subscribing to our Facebook pages and our Instagram account.
Only a maximum 74 people donate monthly to Give As You Live and 20 people donate to the bank account.
We have thousands of Fetcher Dog Friends following us across our social media channels and if we could get 1000 of those people donating just £5 it would make a huge difference!
That would pay our rent, cleaning items, our 3 part time staff, (we only have the ability currently to have part time staff at approximately 20 hours each, as we just cant afford more). Plus help us significantly with vet care, food costs and the utility bills. We still wouldn't cover everything, we need to raise monthly to keep going, but it would be so much easier to only have to raise a further £6-7000 a month.
Every time we take a dog in from the pound or from the streets the dogs need several things, a secure place to stay, kindness, food, cleaning and most expensive of all vet care. Even if a dog looks healthy they still need a vet visit.
Medical costs alone for each dog we take from the pound or the streets costs approximately £350-£400, from small things like ear infections or insect bites to kennel cough brought in from the pounds to massive surgeries for broken bones, to cruciate ligaments, skin infections to life threatening issues, such as Pyometra or a prolapsed womb.
